Healing Nexus
Kathy Wilson and Dennis Barnett are the forces of Healing Nexus. In 2004 they joined resources - Kathy in They have been called by many names. Healer, Teacher, Seer, Prophet, Mystic, Visionary, Wizard, Artist Of The Soul, Psychic, Intuitive, Clairvoyant, Empath, Channel, Keeper Of The Earth, Leader, Guru, Mentor, Earth Angel, Mary, Truthsayer, Guide, Friend, Beloved. These are only names. As the spoken word they carry truth in their vibration. However each one of us sees what we need to see and hears what we want to hear. We all see the world through “lenses of our own grinding”. Dennis and Kathy see themselves as bringers of the light. They cast illumination on the subjects they teach so their students recognize their own potential is within. Dennis talks about turning up the volume on the radio until you have heard the music. Kathy speaks of shining the flashlight so you can see your way through the darkness. In their workshops and personal sessions you get heart focused attention to answer your needs. You will get clear instruction about what to do and when and how to do it. You will get time to debrief all of the sessions, to have your questions answered and to have your observations heard. You will get a balanced interchange with them and with others that is respectful of your needs and which recognizes who you really are at the deep, soul level. And you will get all of these things delivered with humor, respect, unconditional love and without judgment. For each of us once the awakening has started and even though the path is not clear - there is no turning back. Each one of us has our own journey which calls to our heart. Their message is one that recognizes that in the Quantum World all potentials and all possibilities exist simultaneously and that we all have the power to shift our reality from “what is to what can be.” Kathy Wilson I’ve been seeing the flows of energy around me all my life and didn’t realize that not everyone saw what I did. Growing up I can remember being confused a lot. People would say things to me which I heard as more than one message. Often the messages were in direct conflict. The words, the vibration of the words, body language and the intuitive information which I was receiving didn't match up. Layers on layers of disharmony. For my own protection I learned very quickly not to look. There was no one around me that had the skills to teach or explain to me what I perceived and how to manage the information that was coming to me. It was much later that I figured out what was going on. I had a relatively normal childhood –whatever that means! My parents were incredibly supportive and treated each one of us children as individuals. We were given the support and the freedom to explore, try and succeed. For that I am thankful. In that swirl of daily living I moved in magic and awe. My first job was at the age of 10. A neighbor boy hired me to deliver 25 of his newspapers. I was paid one dollar a week (very low pay even at the time) which I put in a jam jar on the bookshelf in my room. One day I dumped the money out on the bed and counted it. Twelve dollars! I was rich! Many years later when I was in business for myself I momentarily paused, before I signed a monthly supplier’s check and thought about the numbers. The figure was just over half a million dollars – a far cry from the twelve silver dollars tumbled on a comforter. Yet with those 12 dollars I had the world by the tail. I was very ill at the age of 11. Both my sister and I got sick. She got well and I got sicker to the point I was hospitalized. I remember moving into the white light, the pain was gone, I could see myself down there still on the bed. The light was bright, warm and inviting. So nice! I thought “My Mom will miss me.” As I floated upwards into the the warmth, comfort and brillance a nurse came into the room. Oops! Big trouble! I knew I wasn’t supposed to be out of bed. Then immediately whomp, I was back in my body with all the pain. I’ve had a very eclectic business life with many forms of self employment. My marriage fell apart leaving me as a single parent with four amazing children. Looking back I can see the weave and patterns that have lead me to where I am today. When I was looking forward there were some days when nothing made sense. In the energy flow around me I saw "it was the monkeys that were running the circus". Life is a funny thing – it teaches you stuff whether you want to know or not. I've learned:
I’ve also learned that every time I get an answer more questions appear. I am pleased to be doing these workshops and connecting and sharing with so many amazing people.
Dennis Barnett I was born in I remember watching my father and uncles “witch” for water without knowing they were dowsing or realizing that dowsing would play such an integral part in my life. Also, I didn’t know that in my youthful fascination for the tipi rings was a prelude to a life long learning which would manifest in many ways from participating in many ceremonies and sweats to receiving a name in an amazing ceremony or having a Native American flute being gifted to me after wanting one for twenty years. I have a long history of working within a large variety of organizational structures within the so called “Real World”. These run the gamut - from serving three terms as Mayor of my community to President of a major political party, from positions on National executives to School Division Trustee. I have been fortunate to be self employed since 1977. This has allowed the freedom to not only have a great deal of community involvement but to be involved on provincial and national stages. As well I have had the freedom to not only own a variety of businesses that truly brought me joy, but also to have the time to follow my heart, to focus on my inner work and to remain grounded in the natural world. It has been my observation that throughout our lives we are given gentle nudges towards our path. They begin when we are young and if we choose to ignore them we are given time before the next one appears. As we move farther down the path on our journey the nudges come increasingly faster until we can resist no more. I have moved from resistance to acceptance. I am on my path. My life is truly “On Purpose.” I look forward to meeting you at one of our workshops.
